A ballon is filled with gas at atm pressure. The ballon is then immersed into water until its volume is 1/16 of its original volume. what is the depth of the balloon from the surface of the water? ( atm pressure =10m of water)
A. 75m
B.80m
C. 150m
D. 160m

what made the car hydraulic brake system NOT EFFECTIVE if there is air bubble in the system?
A. When the brake is pressed, the air bubble is compressed
B. The air bubble will reduce the brake liquid pressure
C. The air bubble will expand when the brake is heated up
D. The air will flow out when the brake is pressed..

is it A?

Q71 B C cool2.gif

Q1
P1V1=P2V2
10V0=(h + 10)(V0/16)
h = 150 m

Q2
A. Where there is liquid, pressure will be delivered completely regardless of its cross-sectional area and ideally non-transferable between different mediums.
B. read above
C. When air bubble occupies whole cross-section of the tube, there will not be any pressure transfer.
D. LOLOLOLOL BRILLIANT

Q70
resultant force on the system (downwards) = 80 - 40 = 40N
resultant acceleration = 40/12 = 6.67m s^-2

Q71
resultant force on the system (downwards) = 80 - 40 - 8 = 72N
resultant acceleration = 72/12 = 6m s^-2

You don't have to minus 40.
It's straight 80/12 = 6.67

It's negative zero error which means you have to add to the value you read.
So, D,E is out.

Then you have to take
1-0.03 = 0.07cm.

Just refer to your book.
If you don't understand, don't blindly just post it up here.
Check the book before you post.
