Some prefer to slowly level and experience the new contents while some wants to hit level cap.

Btw any one playing beta? Hows the value of gold in wotlk? I mean do you need tons of gold to do anything like mount and stuffs?

I"m keeping an open mind about this. Doubt if I can focus on leveling too many toons at once (and I have a lot).

But I can imagine that launch day would be an utter mess of things with addons broken, in-game server lag and many disconnections.

Those who are new, this is normal with any major upgrade of the game. It probably settles after 2 weeks minimum.

agree wif myremi, tis is the WoW tradition.. each time when there's major patch or xpac... definately alot of issue came out... so i will slowly enjoy the game, priority mayb is lv80 and new map, then switch to my alt ^^....

leveling to 80 with everyone is going to be pretty hectic. u are fighting quest mobs with both ally and horde groups. prepare for massive pvp to get quest done. i know some ppl will try to get the first to ding 80 achievement in my server. they have a group for instance grinding as its the fastest to level and gear up.

i'd prob get a group to instance grind all the way, and once u ding 80, u can do the crappy quests for rep as well as more gold to get your mounts.. i foresee that ppl will ding 80 and start arena-ing for ezmode gladiator (especially 2v2) for the 1st season in wotlk.

If you have a T6 group, just set up a 5man and instance grind.

You'll clear the 5man super fast with that gear, your XP rate will be insane.

i havent even finished doing quests around outland

I actually prefer the slow pace and just checking out the different questlines to see what's it all about.

7am - 8pm Work

8pm - 11pm WoW 5 man instances

Thats for weekdays. As for weekends, prolly ill respec to fury from prot and do some questing or prolly will just level to 80 thru instances only.

I think ill be missing out on lore only since gears/exp can get from instances. And yeah, some golds prolly. But i dont plan to abandon them at all, just that ill prolly come back later, when everyone started to do instance instead of leveling.

Now devising a plan to slow down my WoW buddies or heck, to convince them to stop leveling at all without me around. /evil

the broken addons already happened in patch 3.0 so that wont happen again when wotlk is launch since it will use the same patch n same lua as 3.0

but the other 2..i think will sure happen..lol

im very interested in getting that but i don't think its a common mount. so kinda hard to gauge how much is required for smooth lvling without worrying bout gold from 70-80.

I hate grinding for gold. With that estimate won't have to worry or spend unnessasryly

Afterall u need gold for training, repairs, consumables and respec. thats not even including those exalted vendor gears.
