QUOTE(skhairi @ Nov 8 2008, 03:32 PM) Any suggestions for best modular PSU around 500W ? For modular, best wan is the Corsair HX520W at the moment. Others r just behind it such as Gigabyte Odin and Coolermaster. Seasonic 550W is also a good candidate but too bad it is not available locally. Is M520W coolermaster good ? I mean is it really quiet ? |

HX520W is the frontrunner. The new Xigmateks are not bad too, CWT OEM.

Corsair is good but I can tell you it wouldn't be much of a difference on daily usage compared with the Odin. That's the reason why I opted for it. If someone wants to go until the micro measurement levels of both power supply then Corsair might have the edge but again, does it really do that big of differences? I doubt so

According to CM website, M520W provides 520W continuous 600W max, is that true?
Added on November 9, 2008, 1:14 amJust looked up M520W, OP55W, HX520W. Between HX520W & M520W, Price to Perf ratio, which will be better? This post has been edited by Silverfire: Nov 9 2008, 01:14 AM |
