Any suggestions for best modular PSU around 500W ?

Is M520W coolermaster good ?

I mean is it really quiet ?

I suggest Gigabyte Odin 550W which can be bought for RM350 smile.gif

For modular, best wan is the Corsair HX520W at the moment. Others r just behind it such as Gigabyte Odin and Coolermaster. Seasonic 550W is also a good candidate but too bad it is not available locally.

HX520W is the frontrunner. The new Xigmateks are not bad too, CWT OEM.

corsair is better.
i am using 1,vx550w but this is not a modular.
is very quiet and good performance.

i like PSU that is quiet and performs well with good circulation

modular too

Odin for RM350 is not a bad price

Corsair is good but I can tell you it wouldn't be much of a difference on daily usage compared with the Odin. That's the reason why I opted for it. If someone wants to go until the micro measurement levels of both power supply then Corsair might have the edge but again, does it really do that big of differences? I doubt so smile.gif I still get superb overclock and a well stable system with the Odin. However, the cables from Corsair looks nice and unique.

According to CM website, M520W provides 520W continuous 600W max, is that true?


Added on November 9, 2008, 1:14 amJust looked up M520W, OP55W, HX520W. Between HX520W & M520W, Price to Perf ratio, which will be better?

just choose which PSU from these two based on ur preference of cable ..

I opt for Corsair for its slim cables ...

same here... still runs strong for 3 pcs already
