if u dont mind the camera quality, i wud say go for W705. bigger screen. and wifi.
if you want camera quality, go for W902. it has the best camera for any walkman phones now.

w580 keypad cracks becoz it uses hard plastic...
SE fixed it wif W595... no complains n problems so far from wad i heard. =p
the only concern abt the keypad of W705 is the durability i think...
flat keypads often loose tactility after prolonged usage.

w595 is an excellent choice IMO. but it doesnt have high end features like W705.
i think W705 is just slightly thicker than W595.. so... the size shud be ok for u.
going upwards of W705 wud be W995...but it will be thicker lo.

hi, i am C905 user. the software platform is same as W705... it is sony ericsson's A200 platform.
yes, it is a java based program.
chatting programs on sony ericsson phones will be like eBuddy. Can install n can use wif wifi.
other programs like trekbuddy (for gps), dictionary (java version), lightsaber (for entertainment) and many many games can be installed. as long as the installation file is .jar

but u have to check the compatibility first of coz.

hows the keypad? i really wanna compare C905 keypad wif other SE slider phone's keypads... so far only tested W595... =/

juz saw my friend's W705 that day. omg...really really nice.
the slider is rock solid and the screen looks so nice wif the brushed aluminium frame... T_T
so so so nice. and its slim too.
the keypad feels good too. but dont know whether it will last or not. haha.

if u are a user of W910, u wont regret upgrading to this phone.
IMO, this is currently the sleekest n nicest walkman slider phone if you prefer form over function.

the AP company probly imported it and flashed the phone to local firmware and sells it.
Not much problem actually, but it wud be a little troublesome if u wanna update ur firmware. =p
