to all sifu here....wat is the major difference between the G705 and W705? their price of ap is around 250...the w705 is more expensive...so dunno which to choose now...dunno w705 to choose or G705? any idea...i wanna get a phone from SE which is less than 1k...for ap...

How do we know if our phone have the TM thing?

Speaking of the phone,the upper part seems to be loose.

Is it normal? Because I did not noticed it at first...Mind must be thinking of "My phone~~~~" when I bought it

if you mean loose as in you are able to press together the top part
then yes
i got the phone and the phone when closed, the top of the two layer are movable by ~1mm

this is better than my w595 which can move by ~3mm with default housing
while on the newer housing, this problem is lesser effect

i think he meant the TM like vodafone and such.
whats there to worry anyway?
ps : certain SE phones nowadays are made in china.

and for the record, my previous w705 had a firm connection between the upper and lower part.

the front page has very little info on this phone... i would like to ask:

1. What is the current price of this phone?
2. Any recommended shops?
3. Any common problem i should look out for when getting this phone?
4. Any other recommendation other than this phone ( If you dont mind....)

2. best if buy online as it is cheaper. if wan to buy from shops, the best would still be from sony ericsson themselves.
3. so far i had no problems when using it. however, the slide may go loose if u keep sliding it.
4. G705 is the non-walkman version of this phone. has everything this phone has except the walkman logo and also a price tag that is lower.
Also look out for SE w902

yeah just update ur FW via SEUS. then try it again.

hi i just bought a W705,and everything is fine except that i cannot watch videos on youtube.

every time i on my wifi and connect it to the wireless connection in my hse to watch youtube, the msg will read UNABLE TO CONNECT TO MEDIA SERVER.

and if i try again, and again, the wifi signal will cut off.

yeah its preinstalled. surfing other sites is not a problem at all. only youtube. when i used my dad's n95 to watch youtube, it works. only my phone doesnt.

why not try and reflash ur FW ? first time hear of this sorta error

can the wifi connect wherever it is as long as it is under wifi coverage?
as i have read some reviews for the other phn which says that their phn's wifi cant connect in starbucks and stuff...

So far every wifi spot is ok with my phone.

Did not treid wifi or starbucks yet.KFC can.
