Sorry but the girl who captured my heart in the movie was not Ronda Rousey aka Luna. It was Cyndy Powell with just a brief 8 seconds smile at the cam without any dialogue some more! A nobody who play a nobody role. My heart melted like hot cheese seeing her...

Good afternoon to you too, Raikko! I do, it was a classic line to me
Poncho: You're bleeding, man. You're hit. Blain: I ain't got time to bleed. Poncho: [Confused] Oh... Okay... Poncho: [Poncho shoots a bunch of grenades up to the top of the cliff] You got time to duck? Billy: I'm scared Poncho. Poncho: Bullshit. You ain't afraid of no man. Billy: There's something out there waiting for us, and it ain't no man. We're all gonna die. Dutch: If it bleeds, we can kill it. Dutch: Come on... Come on! Do it! Do it! Come on. Come on! Kill me! I'm here! Kill me! I'm here! Kill me! Come on! Kill me! I'm here! Come on! Do it now! Kill me! Dutch: Get to the Chopper! I am the Hague !! This one I believe is a reference to a Stallone's Judge Dredd movie where he said "I am the Law!!" Thanks for posting the full gif up, Raikko This post has been edited by Nam226: Aug 6 2014, 12:00 PM |

Afternoon, Raikko!
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Same here, Raikko. I have not watch any Rocky series too because I was a kid back then and the movie talk too much for me to understand...haha. Rambo is more easy for me to comprehend, go in gun blazing, rescue the good guys and kill the bad guys, simple and more action-packed. But I think ought to watch the Rocky series at some point because it have to be good if it has 6 sequels. And even though I didn't watch them, I like the the iconic music from it, "Gonna Fly Now" and "Eye of the Tiger". Both are so motivating for gym training especially if you jump squats up a stair...lol Nope, didn't even heard of it, lol. This post has been edited by Nam226: Aug 7 2014, 12:05 PM |

QUOTE(Raikkonen @ Aug 16 2014, 06:53 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « True, men ages better than women but it doesn't have to be a female team that consist of only old women, they can cast some young popular women in it too to mix it up. The older women who are unable to do too much action scenes (for whatever reasons) can play different less physical roles like a commanding officer (ie Judi Dench in MI:Skyfall) or victim role. The movie serve as a way to honor these legendary female actress as much as Expendables did for the male actors. We all know our childhood hero (Arnold, Stallone, Bruce Willis, Van Damne, Mel Gibson, etc) but who are your childhood heroines? Mine are the women I mentioned earlier (and they really don't look that bad for their age actually) and so I would like to see them all in a movie together just for old time sake. Casting a nobody young cast is just like you said, people will go "who?" and wouldn't bother much if they can't act or lack the "legendness" Cynthia Khan reminds me a lot of Sharon Chan (TVB actress). Maybe it's just me but she is certainly eye candy |

Oh yeah, 007...lol. Why did I even think of MI? Sorry for the brief confusion
I was secretly hoping Arnold and Stallone would get into a fist fight with Bruce when he said that comment in the church scene... haha. That would really make my day! I mean, McClane, Rambo and Terminator walk into a church... surely a throwdown is to be expected from them Haylet Atwell... excellent choice! |
