Stallone... 62... Cut From Granite, Inked & Ready For THE EXPENDABLES!
Hey folks, Harry here... I look at the below photo and it tells me... I should continue to hit the gym even harder. Look at this guy! Now, I know... Stallone is unbelievably cut for someone in his sixties. But it's just one of those things that is still just stunning to behold. The below photo is the look that Stallone is going for, when he begins shooting THE EXPENDABLES next month. Personally I think "Barney" is looking ready to rip some spines out, how about you? This is going to kick some ass, dontcha think?
Jean-Claude Van Damme has spoken to totalfilm.com about why he turned down a part in Sylvester Stallone's The Expendables, claiming Stallone was just interested in pitching money and action.
“Stallone gave me a part in his next movie," he told us. "But I ask him about the subject, about the story."
"He said, ‘You’re gonna make lots of money.’ I don’t want to hear that, I want to hear what was my character. He was unable to tell what it’s going to be."
"[Stallone said:] 'You know, uh, well, the fighting will be good.' [So I said:] 'Sly, what is my character?' So I didn’t do the movie."
AICN Exclusive: Arnold Schwarzeneggar joins the cast of THE EXPENDABLES!
Hey folks, Harry here... Just got off the phone with... ahem "my source" ahem... who let me know that Arnold Schwarzeggar is going to be playing Governor Arnold Schwarzeneggar in THE EXPENDABLES. He will be shooting for one day, and it seems that the Gov and Sly's character Barney Ross have some history back when the Gov was shooting CONAN THE BARBARIAN!
Also - Ben Kingsley is out as the dirty ******* CIA sob, and Eric Roberts is in! Also, Mickey Rourke has finally signed on officially!
The production is a month out from shooting, and reportedly according to (ahem) my source (ahem), the script has been being beaten into shape by Stallone who has been struggling to nail the right tonal balance of humor, action and emotional reality. So there you have it. Sly and Arnie are both in this film. I'd take that to the bank, I have a really good (ahem) source (ahem) on this!
Perhaps the Gov won't be in THE EXPENDABLES, and perhaps he will!
Hey folks, Harry here... It seems there's a possibility that my source was a bit too exuberant about the certainty of Arnold Schwarzeneggar signing aboard. The whole thing is very dependent upon what happens with Arnold's primary gig as the Governor of California. As most of you know, California has been hit brutally by the financial nightmare that has descended upon the world. If you read DRUDGE or any of the papers in California, you can see a stern faced Arnold working with the California legislature to find a way to fix some of the insanity that's happening in that state. That's the primary job that Arnold is working on over the rest of his term as Governor. If there's some daylight in there somewhere, he might possibly find the time to do his friend, Stallone, a favor by being in THE EXPENDABLES. My source also tells me that if this miracle does come to pass, you'll find Arnie not as the Governor, but as something a bit more gritty, scarred and brutalized.
So... where are things? Well, let's just say - if a f***ing miracle happens and California's economy turns around... we might have a miracle pairing on screen. However, if the nightmare in front of California stays murky... We may just have to wait for a brighter day. Let's all keep our fingers crossed for Sly & the state of California.

According to my trusted source, tough guy actor Danny Trejo, aka MACHETE has joined the cast of Sylvester Stallone's THE EXPENDABLES!
I don't know what role it is but I think it might actually be for a bad guy role most likely in the regime of the main bad guy that The Expendables have to topple.
So now Trejo joins Eric Roberts, Mickey Rourke and Arnold Schwarzenegger!
The film follows a team of mercenaries who head to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator.
Stone Cold Ready To Open A Can Of Whup Ass On The Expendables
This is exciting news for wrestling fans. I don't watch wrestling anymore because it sucks, but I used to around the Stone Cold and Rock days because it was fun to watch. Now it's a nightmare of shitty storylines and even worse wrestling.
Despite not making much money with The Condemned (a really good little action flick if you haven't seen it), Stone Cold Steve Austin is still doing the acting thing and has joined the cast of The Expendables. As a good or bad guy I have no idea. Probably gonna be a bad guy, it fits him better. Maybe he'll get to smack around an ex wife or two in the movie. And some chick from Buffy is also in it.
