 upgrading vista on dell laptop

Hi,
i bought a laptop from dell and i m thinking of upgrading it from vista basic to vista premium.if i reformat the laptop n reinstall the vista ultimate.then how about the HDD recovery for dell?should i delete it or just put it there?if i delete it then how would i cr8 back a HDD recovery for vista ultimate?wat program should i use?

An alternative. Use Acronis.

Yup & it's 30 days fully operational trial. Remember to make the Acronis Bootable rescue media builder. Or u can use the Dell's recovery DVD.

Yes.

A lesson I learn the hard way. Make sure you use Acronis to validate your backup image copy. It will check for file integrity and also hard disk bad sector, the later was the one giving me headache once.

already back up.just i wan another partition like dell made as a backup
