yea lol. though if the fangs body itself is gn particle coated it could just "suicide" and penetrate it. doesnt seem like it does though. too "expensive" to do so anyways. then again... alols have unlimited funding it seems.

Hmm but in ep 9, he did asked Billy to put fastest speed, and strongest sword; fastest speed is more or less what the Overflag used to be, and the strongest sword (a weapon) was what Overflag lacked in S1 against the Gundams.
flag was only fast cuz of a direct straightway thruster much like a jet plane would be. while a gundam's solar furnace is more or less like a helicopter.
the thrones were just caught offguard knowing their machines had a MUCH HIGHER advantage against a mere flag. while the gundams? if you count that 15 hour exhaustion battle it, lol to you

lol...I dun think the Flag is produced anymore. His fighting style also...with the Bushido ahead looks so much different. Doesn't suit flag's battle style. We might see an even better mecha released later...since his friend now join the team to research and build better mecha.
billy had always been in the mech RND. he just got promoted to be the head of R&D. notice season1.

if setsuna pro in melee, then bushido should hv use long range, maybe something like archer that weapon or lockon
in gundam world minus a few exception, when it comes to pros, melee > range.
thats why dynames got raped so hard back then in s1. granted, he didnt used trans-am, and he had an injury over his best eye.

please do remember at episode 3 or 4, they ship open GN-Field but enemy water missle can pass through it, another thing is they have mention that GN-Field cannot block anything.
Fang is tiny beam pea but not a beam particle, as I believe GN-Field can only blocks certain levels of the beam particle and normal bullet or cannons attack.
the torpedo had coating, prolly gn particle neutralizing the field. (heck, the torpedos themselves emit gn particles, and notice the torpedo head, its not just simple metal)
IINM it was also *SLIGHTLY explained* on how the torpedos were penetrating the gn field.
gn field can block anything so long it doesnt get neutralized. like in season1, virtue's field being utterly pwned cuz innovators/veda prolly leaked the shield condensation/information to the GN-X squad. so EVEN BEAMS can penetrate it without effort.
