QUOTE(jesseblue @ Nov 10 2008, 04:58 PM) I'm kinda confused about this activation stuff. I'm supposed to get a Singtel 3G set from a seller this weekend. He said the set will be pre-activated by Singtel. So my question is, is this 'activation' a one-off thing? If we do a restore later on, do we need to activate it again? I supposed not eh u'll still need to activate it after restore using your own iTunes.

errr...do have a look at all the stickies thread if u're not familar with iPhone, and I think this is not the right thread to ask these question.
anyway, if u're able to use ur iPhone now, ie. make calls, sms and listen to music, ur iPhone is already activated and registered online i think. for official singtel unit, just upgrade using iTunes
