u suppose are correct.... if really activated, u should have no problem upgrade it or having problems later on... but what i want to know is... WTH is pre-activate?

of coz le u can use with another telco.. u already unlock it rite?

try insert another sim card and try making calls or sms... if its working.. means u dont have to do restoration....
just slide the sim card in n make a call....

as my past based experience... i dont need to restore it...
but just give a try 1st kay?
