Nope. Won't work. Vista and XP are 2 different products, keygen process is totally different.

downgraded from vista to XP can be done. Ring or call Microsoft and they will not provide new Product Key but they will ask the installation ID and they responded with an activation ID. Activation process will run thru over the phone.

Downgrading to XP has nothing to do with 'use vista key for windows xp', you sound like you are going to use a product key for Vista to validate a Win XP copy, which is going to cause Microsoft to bankrupt if it is possible.

as i know u need to have another serial key of XP in order to downgrade from vista business. Means, u need to have a valid windows xp serial which is legal such as windows xp open license serial key. As i know OEM XP license key will not work, as OEM license can only activated on specified machine which come with the OEM license.
