QUOTE(htt @ Nov 7 2008, 07:29 PM) I was not looking at IOI previously, my favorite plantation stocks are Asiatics & HS Plant A bit lazy to look for last quarter's result and just post some general remarks (since sky caught some, for his info only, and other forumers as well) But I think they are moving in the right direction to trim their debt, also their cash generating power remain strong, think current year will be all right for them in the very least, long term prospect remain intact as the price had been beaten down a lot, good long term play Fed is likely to cut rate to 0.5% ( next meeting ) due to poor job data. Monday could be a good day for our market. P/s : i like beaten down stocks. This post has been edited by SKY 1809: Nov 7 2008, 07:39 PM

U.S. Non-Farm Payrolls fell 240K in October following a 284K decline in Septemeber, which totals to more than half of million of job losses over the last two months.
meaning DJIA will drop?

Simple..MESDAQ is a copycat of NASDAQ in the US. Secondary market.. more like tech. This post has been edited by danmooncake: Nov 7 2008, 10:02 PM
