I'm planning to get a SG set. I'm wondering whether there will be any problem to my hp during the year of warranty. So far all my hps spoilt after warranty finished.

If I buy the SG set, spoil, I'll need to go bak sg personally right? since i dn really travel sg, i'm considering. Anyone could guilde me as to whether Omnia really last long?

And I wonder if SG set can be fixed by Msia Samsung without invalidating the warranty? and so... how do they charge? thx!

yes u need a receipt for it to show that it's not a stolen item!!!
u can lose the warranty card but never the receipt!!

Are you sure about this? Warranty card can lose bt not receipt?

I beg to differ. It should be the other way round. Your warranty card carries the dealer's stamp. As long you warranty card details match your phone details, it should be alright.

The shop which I purchased from taught me that don't send a portion of the card back to Samsung. Instead keep it to yourself and don't include the actual date of purchase on the card. If you want to send your phone (say 6 months old phone) for warranty, just back date to 2-3 months from that day when you send for warranty. thumbup.gif

I heard if presents warranty card, need to present receipt as well to check the validity of the date of purchase. Is that correct?
Sure if only warranty card can use the warranty?

cz am buying sg unit, seller not providing receipt sad.gif

What details must match? Need guideline, other than serial number. How to check serial number on the phone (not the sticker)?

I think it depends on the shop dealer itself. From the shop I purchased from, I don't need to present the receipt, instead just the warranty card is sufficient. Usually you will send your phone for warranty back to the same shop you purchased from, right?

Details are usually the IMEI numbers, I believe. I'm not sure how to check on Omnia for the serial number. Anyone care to enlighten us?

Cz I'm buying it from LYN-ian.. so most likely I cannot go bak to dealer right? So I need to send it to Samsung directly at Sg.. What's the case then?

So far my Omnia did not hang yet on the line. But it slows when I open certain softwares like expense manager. Overall, it's a good phone! I used it for two weeks now and love it!
