Hi all Omnian sifu here, What is the latest and stable ROM currently.
I am still using HH3 and it sux batery like hell. Any1 have any idea which is the best ROM curently?

Any more J1 ROM omnian feedback? Going to DIY upgrade the ROM soon but considering MoDaCo also provide a very good ROM. Any1 try these two b4? HH3 ROM really make me headache and i almost need to charge it every 12 hour (heavy user here).

Does J1 ROM help?

I just upgraded the firmware 2 day ago from HH3 to J1.

Performance >> Touch screen response smoother, less lagging, less crash (almost zero).

Battery >> Last 2-3 day with normal use compare 1-2 day with HH3. Again HH3 is SUCKER !

Upgrade the firmware and you wont regret!!!

Hi all, how could we adjust the wallpaper in omnia so that it could fit in horizontal and vertical? mine use vertical ok but when i move to horizontal the wallpaper just move to half (like our pc when use the tile or central position for small wallpaper it will repeat the pattern). I check the default wallpaper also in vertical size but work nicely in horizontal screen. Please help. Is there a configuration mess up?

My Omnia also have the dot inside the screen. I not sure is the dead pixel or a tiny dust inside but seem like the dot is underneath LCD. Mind to elaborate your LCD condition. Just wanna know are v in the same condition.

I just used my omnia for 3 weeks. This phone is great if you compare to other WM phone. Nothing much to regret except samsung QC quite bad for i900 batch especially the design and LCD quality.

Performance quite ok ok. I always assume "windows products" will "lag" abit is the style. If you are new to WM phone then you might need to think twice. Mine only reach my own expectation after a tons of modification/tweaks. Good luck in your decision.

I have encounter a very weird issue here. I have changed my omnia 1 to 1 before due to a tiny dust inside the LCD screen. After i changed it, i have checked several times the new LCD is clean of dust or dead pixel. Unfortunately, yesterday i notice there a another tiny dust "went" inside the LCD. This thing happen for second times !!!

Am i the only facing this issue where the tiny dust went inside the LCD? any solution? I have taken care seriously but dono where come the tiny dust.... Please help. Thanks.

thanks for your advise. But i comfirm those are dust instead of dead pixel. I just wanna ask here got anybody encounter similar case? coz i have seen 4 piece omnia also have this kind of issue.

Seem like many omnian also have facing this kind of issue where the dust get into the screen. I really got no idea where and how the dust when in. It was in the middle of LCD. Is it still in warranty??

I also have Zagg IS applied on my Omnia and it getting dirt at around the corner and start to peel off. I buy from 1 of the LYN forumer here. Can i still apply the warranty?

Actually omnia is a hi-tech device. Some of those newbie buy just for show off then dont know how to use. Show off 1 or 2 weeks then sell. Omnia cant compare to iphone honestly. Not saying iphone is better or worst, both phone is in different category and aiming different consumer. Omnia trying to cope all the aspect including multimedia. Omnia might lose abit to iphone in term of multimedia (i personally dont think so ) and OS responsive performance but if u come to think iphone PDA function and other phone basic function then omnia win iphone a street far.

Back to the point why so many user sell off their omnia, is bcoz they simply DONNO HOW TO USE it. They tot it was a free and easy phone. Unpack and voila??? WINMO mobile need to tweak. U tweak it then you will get wat u want. lol

And some other user might be a "hopper". One month HTC, One month Iphone, then d other month back to SE. Some might change few HTC in one year. Some how HTC got different model compare to samsung which only omnia and it's predecessor are successfully hit consumer demand.

If you are WINMO user already, and going to change a new WINMO then Omnia is the best if not. Maybe HTC adi come out some model which are better but... for me.. omnia stil the best choice.
