it can "lock your location faster" cause it needs to connect to GPRS/3G to help find your location. if you don't want to pay any extra data charges, disable it.

i'm using Taril's now, wf GMXT, can get possition locked within 2mins most cases. max 5 minutes only. (Xtra disabled)

owah..then how bout mms setting..do u face any problems to get setting?
i cant get setting from maxis
im using maxis postpaid..

maxis postpaid user here and have no problem with mms

btw, i dunno how to set up GMXT for the 1st time.
It just show up keep searching should I just let it keep searching?

For your all information:

Xtra_GPS is to download current Satelite location, It will expired in few day.
U can manual update it in setting>Systems>Enhanced GPS.

It will showed it valid time, just using WIFI connection to manual update it. Maybe update it when u pass by Starbuck?


@G auto set time is to off the screen and into stand by mode.
Default setting is using the front button to wake it up, however u can modify it at :Setting>Personal>Button>Wake Up
that is special setting for our omnia in this button setting,
1. u can set the volume down and flash light button to use our phone as touch light.
2. hangup Key(End Button) press for second will lock the screen.
3. the wake up setting.

my 3G mms profile is same as your 3G internet settings...lol

i also having difficulties to install the skyscape program
even if i choose to install it in my storage,it always install in the internal memory
so i have to manually removed it to my storage to clear the internal memory
can help me?

i just flashed it at FMG yesterday

program storage usage about 50 percent of 90mb

storage space about 86% of 90 mb left like 13 mb free only

my storage used 3% about 462 mb used probably to install program

is it normal for storage space to be used up to 86%?
the delay really gets on my nerves
