mind to share the best ISO setting for omnia?
*
you can use the method below to make the camera to remember previous setting for ISO, but is ISO only, still have to adjust the brightness, contrast, saturation, etc manually.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HKCU/Software/Sumsung/Camera
ISO change Value Data from 0 to 1

After this setting, if you change to another ISO setting, it will remember for you.

tried the phone this afternoon, seems like very hard to text message, the button so close to each other, you guys have any problem SMSing?

thanks.
*
previously like to use Samsung Keyboard for landscape SMS-ing, Samsung PhonePad for vertical mode.
Now i'm using Cootek's TouchPal, no problem so far... quite convenient once get use to it... supports Multilingual, n have 3 input interface built-in in 1.

really?
my wife's touch pro normally need around 5 min to lock
and mine can get less than 1 minute..so, it's good enough for me..
but if u close GPS for 10-30 minutes, then open it again, it will lock less than 5sec..
(i'm using custom HK2)
*
normal "fresh" condition will take around 1-5 minutes to connect under clear sky, sometimes will need to take longer time if it is cloudy... tested on Nokia Navigator, N95, Diomand, OMNIA... all about the same... but to me, as long as can lock to satelites within 10 minutes consider good enuff d lorr. plan ur journey earlier lah... brows.gif

i went to clubbin last 2 nite..took pict wif my omnia..but not clear la in dark..anyway to improve the quality in dark? the flash also not satisfied..
make pict looks like using cheap camera..maybe the flash only led..not like sony using xenon flash..
*
basically dont expect much from the LED flash comes wf OMNIA. the optimum distance of the LED Flash is up to about 1m-1.5m only.. try to change the setting for different purpose or environment.. you can also use the preset scenes to assist "SCN"... in dark environment, increase the ISO #, disable flash, steady hand/tripod, etc etc.. all these helps to capture better photo in dark environment. have to admit that OMNIA's camera is good but not the best.. haha...

^.^
