the bubble under ur IS will only slowly evaporate off after a few weeks.
this only applies to small bubbles..big bubbles u need to pray.
for IS silver chrome turn black...i'll try to take photo...but the chrome shine make it difficult to capture using camera..

better u do a hard reset urself.dun have to send back to service center for 2weeks,they'll just perfom the same task also...y wait for 2weeks?
simply poke ur soft reset button,then when the samsung word come out,press both answer n reject pad together.that will bring u to the hard reset screen.try a few times if 1st time not successful.goodluck!

dun buy another IS la..the "dust" on your screen is actually air bubble...will evaporate in 2-3weeks time...
but the bubble on your chrome will not..too big..if it is not completely dry yet..i suggest u take it off n reapply if still got shield spray..

IS only got one version la..all same for that particular device..haha
i bought from tanalliance as he is the sole official reseller for malaysia..easy for warranty claiming..

if dry d dun peel off.if still got a bit wet..let say 15min after applying still can peel...too long then don't la..fyi,i peeled n reapply for a few times...hehe
to avoid bubbles,i heard spray more and then use ur finger to make it even...then less bubble will appear.

I remove mine before applying,as i was afraid that there will be dust on it..
fyi,if u always use transcriber,IS is a bit difficult to glide on it..so it's not that transcriber-friendly.i saw ppl pt one more layer screen protector on IS...

IS screen sensitivity still ok so far...at least to me it is...
especially after some registry tweak..

i applied whole body including camera lens..
nite time omnia camera memang not that good..flash oso...
i'm not sure wether is it because of IS...
tmr i try take photo outdoor...i suppose will be better...

for fw upgrade,i was kinda freaked out at 1st..
fyi,normal fw upgrade should take not more than 10min.
stuck in the middle of upgrading..waited long enuf(more than 30min)..so i unplug usb n take out my battery...then reinsert n then turn on n plug back usb again...
i relaunch the .exe updater n it enters emergency mode...then i just klik continue to let the fw upgrade complete..
luckily...it works...
i suppose no one here ever entered emergency mode huh?

no nid to fight with tuby..we just make sure we dun flood this thread with unnecessary bumps..
for fw upgrade,i prefer to do it without connecting to the internet.
u do not nid to be connected the the internet for fw upgrade since u already downloaded the updater.exe file. it's in your pc.
preferrable to do a soft reset before fw upgrade to free up ur omnia.

no wonder my photo quality was that bad before this...shit!!!

well..that means u get to change to a new IS evry few months...

sorry,but i'm not sure of the pixel policy for samsung sets.
my bro is using htc diamond,need 3 dp/bp to claim rma.
*#0*# is for lcd test:red/green/ blue/ melody/ vibration/ dimming/ megacam/ CIFcam/ touch/ Light Sensor/ sleepmode/ mouse.

so far nvr seen any aluminium casing for omnia...what's the point by the way?making it bulky?the aluminium case might scratch the chrome after some time..

haha...had a look at the metal case...not to my liking...really bulky...

yup...that's tv out purpose...or to show slides i a presentation n stuff...
anyway,i'm still searching for a more portable stylus..the smaller the better...one that won't keep on banging the chrome...
thinking of DIY...using a guitar pluck..hehe
