Don't worry, once you get the technique down with proper form, you can start adding the weight quite fast. Last week was the first time I added deadlifts to my back routine, around 35kg I think. Yesterday I did 40kg and then on the 3rd and 4th set could still do 45kgs. The pump and tightness you get in your lower back is the best feeling ever!!
