what i mean about being pessimistic is not asking you to have hope of being together again.
so you want to move on with your life, so move on.
do things that make yourself happy, fight for your own happiness.
stop thinking of how heartbroken you are but think of how happy you should be.

look at the bright side in your life.
i'm sure the past relationship wasn't your everything in life.
