So just a few days ago. I start my pc first the bios ok, after that when booting vista... Is All Black . Just black nothing. Instead it load even longer. Really long. But I manage to solve it. By removing any removable disk/thumbdrive. But I just want to know why it didn`t boot when my thumbdrive was plugin? So im going do diskcheck first then I tell you guys if ok. DISKCHECK INFO: Problem: My vista said that "C:\$Mft" is corrupted/damged. Solution: It ask me to do diskcheck. Then ok, but it never finish the diskcheck. Stuck at 5 stage 40%. Why did it stuck there? AHHH IS WORST NOW IT keep on restarting.
When at the login page just b4 it. Got said configuring updates. 3 of stage 3. then sunddenly it restart, restart again and again and again. it never stop. This post has been edited by bo093: Nov 7 2008, 03:35 PM

Did you set HDD as first boot device, and disable booting from external device first?
