discuss the trend of economic growth for malaysia between 2007 and 2008 and what are the reason for such tred

Economic growth - nada

Reasons:

a) Deficit of 5-6% of GDP

b) No income for the GOV to spend on a stimulus bill. Fuel prices dropped, commodity prices dropped.

c) Inflation remains high

d) Monetary policy, can't raise, cant reduce interest rates. Malaysia is in a bind.

e) Market outlook: KLCI to remain below 1000 points going forward.
