haven't really fiddled with the settings yet, since out of the box, I found it abit on the bright side...mebbe because my surroundings are always dim....or no lighting at all...adjusting the contrast did the work.

i'm just regular user, so no complaints whatsoever on the display side...as for the audio, read that they have some "fade-out" issues, when using the built-in speakers....u need to ask yourself, is it necessary to use the built-in speakers!!???

highly unlikely, if u want good sounds...imho.

visually wise, i'm all for it, for that amount of cash u r paying, there's no competition...of yeah...it's slightly "washed out"...but adjustments can be done anyhow...

ask yourself:
1) wat usage? daily usage? photographic usages?
2) daily - TN panel, photographic - VA/IPS
3) if TN, lotsa brands in the market; if IPS, dell, nec, others
4) budget?
5) if TN and cheapskate like me, it'll be dell, s2409w, if got $$$, sammy or others
6) if IPS, and cheapskate, 2209WA (no offence to users ), if got $$$, nec or sony

is it my eyes or S2409w looks wider than 2333sw? both are 16:9 also rite?

i connect my 2233SW to my laptop vga output ( intel X3100 ) , and i use it as my primary display , i notice that when the resolution is set at 1920 x 1080 , the screen is flicker (Not super obvious that one la ), Any resolution below 1920 x 1080 will not have the flicker on screen . i know this is due to the 60Hz refresh rate , but it is very noticeable when sitting 0.5m in front the lcd , will u guys face same problem ? 

the Processor requirement to play HD (or neccesarily 720p or 1080p or anything above standard definition) is single core 2.4gh. If you have a 2.4gh and a proper graphic card driver for you GPU (built in or other wise), you should not experience lag in playing HD. Processors newer than Intel Pentium (dual core processors for example) should have no problem playing HD vidoes even at 1.6gh

can see the picture but in slow motion but when running standard definition no problem at all?
try trouble shoot to see if the problem only affect 1080p. 720p okay?

to 2409 owner.. did u guys install the driver? or let it be Generic PnP monitor?
