Hi guys, what's a good AND cheap 22'' monitor with HD support? I'm thking of getting an Xbox 360 and hooking it up to the monitor. And preferrably the monitor should have AVG(juz in case), DVI(my GC) and HDMI(xbox 360) inputs. Are 22" monitors suitable for gaming on my 4870?

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Feb 5 2009, 10:51 PM) FOr chiakm, u can go for s2409w, 24inch 1920x1080 reso, where xbox360 u can set to 1080i for HDMI. 2233sw is HD but dont have HDMI input, and e2200hd got HDMI but the quality is not as good as dell or samsung one from those comments out there. Thx, but what about other recommended 22" monitors? I'll go look into the 2233sw

Is anyone selling the Dell 2209WA besides Dell? Cuz it's rather expensive. Was researching the S2409W but stumbled upon the 2209WA. Very interested in it.

QUOTE(axbx @ Feb 10 2009, 04:29 PM) yeah, i guess i'll stay with Dell then... can't afford IPS now... There's always the Dell S2209WA. It uses an IPS panel. Saw from the Dell website that it's going for around RM1k. But hopefully there's some1 selling it cheaper here cuz it's interested.

Guys, a little question here. Higher resolution with AA disabled vs lower resolution with AA maxed in games. Which would look better? Would the higher resolution on an lcd monitor compensate for the need to have AA?

QUOTE(lex @ Feb 15 2009, 06:34 AM) I have an ancient Acer AL1717A (8ms, 1280x1024), still going strong. Recently I got one Acer X203H for a client, the problem was the stand can't fit in.. so I RMA and got back a new one instead. Anything else, the monitor looks fine. Thus when buying that monitor, please test first and make sure the stand fits. You can check my short review here: Acer X203H Short Review Those "19-inch" 16:9 ones are not really 19" at all but are 18.5".... thus smaller than normal 19" widescreen (16:10 ones). 16:9 movie test on Acer X203H monitor.... [attachmentid=803645] No black borders.. Wah. Battlestar Galactica spotted. Nice series haha.
