elo. currently looking for a good non expensive 22" or 24" monitor. but my pc table is multitiered, so the max width allowed is 22.5" only. not sure if a 24" full HD monitor can fit or not. checked a 21.5" full HD monitor, the width already 20.5" including the borders. anyways, would appreciate any suggestions for a good 22" and 24" monitor.

Depends on your budget... If can afford Samsung, then go ahead..

Just got my Samsung 2333SW from Samsung (Lowyat) for RM680. Quite a nice price for me so I just bought it. The results are stunning, at least to my expectations since I came from a Viewsonic with a native contrast of less than 700:1. Nice glossy finish but a bit scratchy.

hoho..ur problem seem same wif me.. got 1line at the right and the blacklight bleeding so bad.. lucky i bought 2unit..can compare each other.. the problem unit S/N is CM22HMBQCxxxxx..
then going back to shop and change to other unit with S/N CM22HMCQCxxxxx...   

Nop.. 1st day n 2nd day i didnt seem any problem, you know la..my 1st LCD, really happy that time..
then i playing around with dual monitor setting.. after restart few times, and notice got line at the 1st monitor.. so i do check up and compare both unit..
the faulty unit seem not really sharp.. even i do an adjustment at the monitor, and the color seem more bright, the monitor look a little bit dull...

may i know what's the difference and advantage of LED LCD?

What concerns me most is that Samsung is so much more expensive at RM400+ while Acer is only RM300+

Plus, the specifications is not entirely the same.

While Samsung has DC15,000:1, the true contrast ratio is only 1000:1

Acer has a true contrast ratio of 10,000:1 according to the specs advertised.
Now, why is Samsung so expensive and Acer so cheap?

hey recently my acer 22ws got a little problem when i close and open my lcd. Whenever i close my LCD and leave it there ...after an hour or 2 i came back and open again , the open and close button light starting to blink....i need to close and open again and again or again only get back the screen. So any1 knows what da problem ?
