Sometimes a person is too dependable on brand. But i believe all brands always want to improve their products to keep attractive in market. What I can say here BenQ is not a bad brand. I see lots of forumers using BenQ!!

if want gaming and all rounder and watch movie

22 inch wide 16:10 1680*1050 will do the job fine.

700 mb movies...not much difference also...compressed movie...wat to expect?
if u want to go with the trend..then buy 22 inch 16:9 1920*1080 wide...but then..when playing games...with ratio 16:9...a bit hard lor...somemore u using 4850..wanna max out the reso in the games meh?sure lag also..lag as in frame drop...

if u got ps3..and want to hook up to pc lcd and for all rounder..the best is get full HD LCD...

if wanna do work..all rounder...i suggest...u get 22 inch wide 16:10 1680*1050

UNLESS......u can make sure and ask those seller....can the  22 inch 16:9 1920*1080  downscale pixel to 1680*1050 and yet it will be as clear as max reso.

Anyway, any ratio or any reso will do. This is because currently we have no other choice. We need to follow current trend althought our pc hardware cannot match the LCD spec and yet those 22 inch square lcd is so so expensive.

Im using HD2600XT on 22 inch wide LCD 1680*1050, even playing dota, i notice lag and frame drop. So i just use 1024*768 reso and scale the picture become square and there's left and right black bar. If i max the reso by custom registry at 1680*1050, it's very lag . And watch video, i just pull the windows box to the maximum video reso size...size like youtube video.Coz if i max it, the picture not nice.

i suggest u , u go to the store....u compare side by side 16:9 1920*1080 reso with 16*10 1680*1050 first.....u like which one..choose which one

First, compare on windows desktop.How small is the font and icon and the wording.whether u can see the wording. As i said again,if u dun have ps3 or blue ray player...full hd lcd is not a good choice.

rm 600..any will do as long as it suits ur need....

if i want connect my mini compo hi-fi to my lcd
isit i need those tv box thingy ?
or got any cable can straight convert ?

I hope the T220HD is selling for around 600. Prices of monitors are always more expensive in Penang.

Just gotten my Samsung 2233SW from Penang Pc Fair at RM585, they raise RM10 since yesterday.

For T2200HD, you can go to PC75 Pristine Wireless. They're selling it for RM580.

From that pics u posted, i see still got horizontal black bars. I guess u gotta get movies with 16:9 aspect ratio already.
