hd 4850 1gb , d additional 512mb kinda useless according to reviews in guru3d...sometimes higher gddr memory is worthless if its not effectively utilised

now stuck on decision whether to upgrade pc or get 2709...tough tough...

2233SW RM604 in Viewnet

Just bought a Samsung 2233SW at RM599 in All IT yesterday and its very nice. Its very bright too as compared to my previous 940BF.

Anyone know is it possible to rotate the LCD to straight(Samsung 2233BW)?If yes..how?I seems cannot make it straight.Because if it on 7 degrees some pictures are dark if i not sit straight..

if your old monitor already meninggal dunia n have no choice but to get a LCD, just get the cheap cheap 22". Full HD or not the price is almost the same. 22" LCD is not getting cheaper. DONT expect the price to fall below RM500. They will replace the models with more pixels, high specs to keep the price above RM500. 17" CRT WERE NEVER BELOW RM300. LCD will not fall below RM350. 19" LCD will not fall below RM400.

If you dont use the monitor for console gaming, just get the T2200HD or the Samsung 2233BW. Both are full HD TN panel with DVI and HDMI, the T2200HD is way more cheaper than the Samsung 2233BW. Next time, when you upgrade your system, u dont have to upgrade your monitor.

2233BW is HD Ready..2233BW is the latest model by Samsung.The monitor is great..Just i dont know how to rotate it to straight..GC is on the Sig.

Yea it has flower pattern on the back.For PC anyway..

hmmm. so they dont come out with 2253bw anymore in any of the shops in lowyat? hmm

so, regarding t220, so its ratio 10:15.5, so gaming will problem pula since most game still goes 16:10 rite? i think i'll let this pass, since i play games more than i watch hd movies.

so between 2233bw and 2253lw which would you recommend me? but wait, 2253lw is 2ms. hmmm. decisions again. i think i'll do more reviews bout these lcd since i only do research on 2253bw.

anyway anyone else got price quotes for 22" lcd please? (preferably samsung)

faster ms and slower ms got wat different?

just found out, 2253lw is 2ms grey to grey. black to black its still 5ms same like 2233bw.

btw at 5ms its really hard for human eyes to see the difference too. lets say we do have one 5ms and one 2ms lcd, there still wont be any other difference unless we're talking about refresh rate up to 500fps.

so there you go, i think i'll take 2233bw.

so again any price quotes for 2233bw? any shops in particular in lowyat that i should go look for? thanks!

t220hd quite expensive...2233sw got contrast of 15000:1 and the t220hd series is 20k:1...price is 150 -200 more expensive..

hehey, im thinking of getting a 4850gs to go with it too, but i'll see how the price of 4870gs goes first. well if u do indeed got your 2233bw before me please do let me know the price for it and what shop did u get it from, ure buying at lowyat right?
ya same here, 16:9 normally for movies, but seems like i'll be playing games more than watching any thing. i'll opt for 16:10. btw i couldnt stand screens with very narrow height (16:9).

ask him check whether his T220 is samsung panel or not

Since T220HD got HDMI input, better pnp the HDMI cable to ur xbox360 for better gaming experience and image quality

It is a little weird comparing a TN panel and VA panel isn't it? Kancil versus Ferrari?
