I've read through most of this thread and can't find an appropriate answer.
Im planning to buy a LCD monitor to connect my PS3, im looking for one with either DVI with HDCP compatibility or straight with HDMI ports. Im not sure which model or brand is good and was hoping to get some input on a model thats cheap (second hand preferably and around the RM700 region) Does anyone know any brands around that price? Thanks in advance. |

I'm in Singapore and it seems like Singapore isn't carrying the above Benq products... So any suggestion how I can get it? Online sales? Or nearest place in Malaysia I can go from Singapore to buy it? Thx! |

hows the E2200Hd compare to its brother the T2200HD? i just went to Digital mall and Thuder match there was selling the "T" for 565 but no sign of the "E"
i plan to get a 22" monitor asap by next week if possible....im gona use it for gaming and my PS 3 also... i wana ask whats the general price diff between the T and the E cuz im kinda on a tight budget and want to know should i shell out more to get the E or the T is sufficient enuf..... In terms of gaming is the E better then the T if so why?and about the E having HDMI input if i were to get a T how should i connect my PS 3 to the monitor?with a converter right? if so how much is the converter? my budget is about RM600 Thks for the hand guys |

Added on November 18, 2008, 1:55 amI am looking for a 20" - 24" WS LCD. Not looking into IPS reason too expensive. So left with PVA or TN. I like PVA color reproduction and contrast ratio but i need a good response time or minimal input/output lag for my FPS games. Basically this is my requirement: 1) At least 16xx-10xx resolution. 2) Nice color reproduction. (8bit panels) 3) Good contrast ratio with minimal backlight bleeding. 4) Acceptable input/output lag. P/S: I don't mind getting a TN panel(6bit) only if its color simulation is not "so" noticable. I notice the lately favorable E2200HD by BENQ. Looks sweet but i still prefer if it is not TN So braders-braders sekalian, help me by shouting out ANY models which u think best suit my needs and I will go do my homework. Just list down here. Thanks. This post has been edited by kayden: Nov 18 2008, 01:55 AM |

Thanks. Samsung 2233BW, T220, T240 using TN panels (if not mistaken) So do applies for BenQ E220HD, E2400HD. You can google for reviews and decide which one you want to pick. QUOTE(hsienming @ Nov 18 2008, 02:48 AM) S-IPS/H-IPS (In Plane Switching) panels are generally considered the best all around panel type, but they are more expensive and very few are made. High end, expensive.S-PVA/MVA (Vertical Alignment) panels offer better color reproduction and viewing angles than TN panels, have slightly worse response times than TN or S-IPS, offer the best contrast ratios, may suffer from color shifting or input lag and have higher availability than S-IPS panels. Mid range, fair price. TN (Twisted Nematic) panels are very cheap and have the fastest response times, but suffer from inferior color reproduction, contrast ratios and viewing angles. Low end, inexpensive. More info, just go here : http://www.pchardwarehelp.com/guides/lcd-panel-types.php This post has been edited by soundsyst64: Nov 18 2008, 07:40 AM |
