i just got a LGW2252TQ 22" mon from ALL IT last week. at only RM625 for a 22" mon, it was a steal.

but then, i realised something wasn't right wit it. the edges of the screen would be brighter (like when i watch a movie wit cinemascope, can clearly c the edges r grayish instead of totally black)

what's goin on with it? or is tis a case of i got wat i paid for? (cheap thing no good thing...u know wat i mean)

Planning to buy a 22inch during next month's Pikom PC Fair.
But it seems to me like Samsung's LCDs aren't exactly the best buy especially when it comes to color accuracy.
The T220 fairs better, but needs a bit of tweaking.

Just wanna ask, if things come down to:
1) Color accuracy (for photo-editing)
2) Response time (for gaming & movies)

What do you guys recommend?

I've also heard that 120MHz LCDs are coming out soon (by early 2009)?
Is it a good time to buy LCDs now?

^u can always use lower resolution. thats the only option. lower resolution (than native res) doesn't mean it look totally sux, no.
