can see the picture but in slow motion but when running standard definition no problem at all?
try trouble shoot to see if the problem only affect 1080p. 720p okay?

it mean when i play on my 40" Full HD LCD TV, it have jerky / spike motion.

Now i'm using my AMD Rig with the 2409W, i play Ratatouille 1080p with res 1920x1080, smooth and silky

is there any monitor we can pusing2 it to be diagonal or horizontal?

Dell 2209WA or 2408WFP can both rotate (as well as height adjust).

update: already ask the acer seller, confirm it is rm599. postage is rm30. quite cheap.

i have no 1080p movies.

Only HDTV series like Hereos and Prison Break. Seriously u will feel the different cuz no bar at all. like watching movie in cinema. btw u need a good audio too to enjoy maximum satisfaction

In this topic, some of the contrast ratio has DC whereas some has not. May I know what difference does it make? DC and not DC.

On a side note, is 15,000:1 contrast ratio much better than 10,000:1? How significant is the difference in daily use? (Ex: Watch HD movies, surf net, play games... you get the drift...)

DC means dynamic contrast ratio..Dynamic constast ratio is when the back lighting of the display is adjusted dynamically for darker scenes to give you better black levels...Sometime,the lcd which has very high dc ratio,the display may look a bit FAKE or not natural...

Yup,the 15,000:1 contrast ratio is better than 10,000:1...They really dont have much significant difference...U can see the slightly diff when u put them side by side to compare...

try to see the typical contrast ratio...its much more important.

Which brings to the conclusion that many companies are trying to trick people by only advertising their DC ratio, not the typical ones!

Yes correct, that's why I trust my eyes for the contrast thingy. . Cause I don't think there's a standard way for all manufacturers to measure the dynamic contrast.. so it is quite subjective. Besides, I don't evne use the dynamic contrast mode on my 2233SW most of the time.. I find it a little irritating.

after 108 pages, ppl still ask bout contrast ratio. please google it for god sake!
