Hey guys may i know which category does Epsilon comp set falls under?

I was quoted Rm500 for an Epsilon comp set and Sony rear including installation. Which model I'm not too sure.

What do you guys think? Please help, still a rookie in this. thumbup.gif

Oh, I see i see.. Thanks =)

I've seen quite a number of people suggesting to others that the rear speakers are not necessary to be changed.
For a minimal setup, just add on a comp set will do. How true is that?

For instance, if I just get myself a RM400~500 Pegasus or Soundstream kinda compset only as compared to RM500~600 for a lower range compset + rear speakers, which will be better?

I am a hobbyist who seeks high-quality audio, but restrained by budget. As I am a student, I couldn't afford to spend so much for ICE of my car.
Will changing the rear speakers to a normal RM200~300pioneer or sony 6X9" make a lot of difference?

Please advise sifus!

i would suggest u to concentrate on ur front comp set onli. dun waste money on rears. i'm oso a student, all i did is save up slowly and over the years, u'll hve a very nice systems, just depends how far u wanna go. u plan to use the epsilon amp? perhaps u can raise ur budget to abt 700 can get urself a better front comp. like boston acoustics SX60, focal access, alpine type R and so on. another rm200 isn't so hard to save, right? anyway, it's still ur choice how u wanna spend ur money, i'm juz giving advice through my exp.

Guess I won't be getting an amp, don't quite wanna spend on that. I did some research and I reckon I'll focus on the front compset like mentioned.
However the guy that fixed my alarm system told me that I could change the 6X9" for better bass.
Question is, will I be lacking of bass even if I change to a sets of Rm700 or so for the front? *my rear is stock speaker

I kinda agree that some said rear speakers are for rear passengers. What I need now is staging effect. Everything i hear is from the back lol.
Even the 4" in the dashbox couldn't draw any difference.

Any comment for these sets? Range 350~450

Magnat Xperience216
Soundstream XTC.6
JBL GTO607C
JBL GTO6506C

Or are there any better recommendation?

Thanks.

That price was quoted from Howiechoo's store.

Anyway, by just changing a better comp set will have soothing sound but the punch of bass wont be there? I'm not talking about big bass, but just mild once, of course better than stock. Perhaps what i'm trying to say here is, can comp set produce a firm bass but not too loud?
