for 10k u can do much better than polk, autotek, macrom, eclipse 3100 etc.. especially if u look at 2nd hand high end stuff

Is it really that bad? Kind of curious cos I'm thinking about getting a ddx-7036.
It's hard to find a HU that has multi-lingual support for mp3 tags, VGA screen, possibility to add in Garmin, SD card support.
How does it compare to a normal Pioneer around the same price?

as long as it is not some china made brand or so called taiwan made brand, it is quite decent.

as for me personally, i like pioneer.

Which category does Hertz speakers fall into? Horrible? Entry Level? High Quality? or Competition (i think quite unlikely.)

sifus, how about "Critical MASS" component set as today I fixed my 2nd Macrom amp and I was introduced to this US component set brand?

Now, my rides have the following SQ setup:
1) Kenwood HU - kdc-8533mp (5v)
2) 2 unit of Macrom 2-channel amp
3) CV 10" enclosed subwoofer
4) Autocraft 6.5 component set
