QUOTE(Kiloweya @ Jul 28 2010, 01:00 PM) comited my self to the polk audio sub.. ... i think need to drop nearly 10k fr this upgrade for the quality... seriously need to do more research before commiting to anything next time thanks for the info guys... thanks for the info.. really appriciate it.. for 10k u can do much better than polk, autotek, macrom, eclipse 3100 etc.. especially if u look at 2nd hand high end stuff

QUOTE(ckmoy007 @ Jul 30 2010, 01:01 PM) depends on ur budget la. if u r on a tight budget, guess kenwood will work for u. or else there are other better brands. Is it really that bad? Kind of curious cos I'm thinking about getting a ddx-7036. It's hard to find a HU that has multi-lingual support for mp3 tags, VGA screen, possibility to add in Garmin, SD card support. How does it compare to a normal Pioneer around the same price?

Which category does Hertz speakers fall into? Horrible? Entry Level? High Quality? or Competition (i think quite unlikely.) http://www.hertzaudiovideo.com/default_en.htm

sifus, how about "Critical MASS" component set as today I fixed my 2nd Macrom amp and I was introduced to this US component set brand?
Now, my rides have the following SQ setup: 1) Kenwood HU - kdc-8533mp (5v) 2) 2 unit of Macrom 2-channel amp 3) CV 10" enclosed subwoofer 4) Autocraft 6.5 component set
