who care what the brand call when it come to a budget system? as long as the amp perform what it should without giving problem then it is a good amp. Some branded local brand amp that sell much more expensive always giving problem with many"TRANS-fat" added inside....

so at the end of the day, i believe eating potato is better than the trans-fat........

:: sorry to all sifu if i asking at the wrong section.
what happen if amplifier or monoblock that push the woofer not have enough power?
example : 1 woofer required min 250 rms,but amp or mono only can produce low then 250 rms (200,150,100)
so what will happen? any damage part? heating issue? how da sound?

thanks
*
should not damage any parts. only not able to bring out a speaker's potential

"Each potato generates about 0.5 volts and 0.2 milliamperes."

So you'd need 24 potatoes to equal 12v and 0.0002 amperes.

So if you want a 12v 300a system, you'd need 1 500 000 strings of 24 potatoes.

I get 36,000,000 potatoes.

24 series'd strings of 1,500,00 parallel taters.

Based on the average potato weight, you'd need 45,000,000 pounds of potatoes, and voltage would begin to drop instantly.

1. HU which is nicely fit in Sorento dashboard and could also using the steering control buttons. The HU should also hv GPS.

2. Decent speakers, wires, subwoofer.

3. Rear and front cameras

4. Recommended shop within KL/Selangor.

My budget is less than 10K. Thanks in advance.
*
1) not familiar with sorento at all so cant help

2) with the budget, can consider a mid range setup for component set/HU/sub, stock speakers all move to rear if you'd like the rear fill else you can just cut/throw them out (if you're not having passengers at the back seat)

3) no idea how much they cost so cant help you there, being a bit vague on point 2 also because of point 3

4) consider going to ea autoworks at bukit jalil, hifi creations (previously audio creations) at ara damansara
howiechoo from ea autoworks is very active in LYN smile.gif

The one that Quaza meant is here, he open a new shop:
email: victor@hifi-creations.com
fb:www.facebook.com/hifi-creations
location: opposite Houz Depot, kota dsara. 5mins away from Ikea

The one now in Ara Damansara is KKLau.

Yup, Im busy, ur busy, everybody busy...well, what the hack. There are bundles of ICE providers out there willing to entertain u although they are busy. Anyway thanks again for the advice, will look into Hifi Creations plus others.
*
howie can entertain you even if he's busy. though that typically means late overtime at his shop rolleyes.gif

Quazacolt, please elaborate on a better brand. You can ask garykam about the adams, he has some experience listening to it.

there's so many reputable brands out there being mentioned, any of them could suit your needs.

personally i've heard a few setups while i dont think i've heard yours i just don't think they are worth the time/money smile.gif

Allen ur car sound is better than quaza, except the sub. Adam is not tat bad de la. Dun judge a book by it's cover la.
*
but ive heard a few setups myself. not judging a book by its cover, i just don't find them worth it. perhaps if i get the opportunity to audition allen's setup then it could perhaps change my perspective smile.gif

Thanks for the feedback. Not really into ICE just need something decent to replace the lousy stock speaker. May keep the
stock HU but looking for Adams Digital for some sentimental reason...lol.
*
if you auditioned it before and you're ok with it, by all means go ahead with it then. they are definitely much cheaper than reputable brands as they are a local brand after all smile.gif
