ok guys. i need some help here

i have a forum that is now hosted at 110mb.com. it's a free hosting site but i paid to use the mysql n sendmail fucntion

the forum is only 3 months old but it already has 500+ members with average post of 100 per day. for this month (october) it has used up 1GB of bandwidth and 200MB data space.

i'm planning to move my forum to other hosting site coz box14 of 110mb that is where my forum is hosted at is unstable. there's too many downtime. i think i've lost count how many the forum has been down since i first moved it to 110mb.com

n i'm looking forward to register a domain (.com) for my forum too. currently it's using 110mb's domain

i've tried looking around the Paid Web Hosting & Domain Registration Thread but i got confused since there are too many web hosting available. my budget is rm100 per year (domain + web hosting).

i'm using SMF for my forum, in case it's relevant.

what else..


so, what i'm looking for is:
- sufficient data space for a forum (is 5GB too much?)
- sufficient allocated bandwidth for a forum with >500 members from all over the world and a shoutbox
- a .com domain
- reliable uptime!
- compatibility with Simple Machine Forum
- help to move the forum, maybe? but i've moved the forum once from netfast to 110mb so i dont think it'll be a problem
- payment method: cimbclicks or paypal
- whatever else u think necessary

you better think properly. if the government consider to take u down u will enter jail for warez. In public forum whoever give u service or hosting is responsible.

i suggest that u get a off shore hosting account since your forum has all sort of "ahem" links.

yeah, since your forum have illegal links, better look for a host that is not too particular about contents.

I must warn you that ALL hosting company have policy on illegal materials. It's only a matter of you getting complained and you becoming too famous. You will get closed down anytime wherever you host. If someone guarantee you can host illegal materials without getting closed down, then I dare to say this person is lying to get your business.
