hey guys i have a problem with my phone. my phone is a 8gb 1st gen iphone. today i did the earse all the contents and settings on the phone and it was loading . then , only the apple logo came up after that. and it stays like that. then my phone turned black and i cant charge it nor detect it with my itunes. what happen?

ok. could it be that the battery suddenly die? i dont think thats the problem.
