Try resetting your modem to get a new IP ?
I can download off RS except for files located in server 506. Kinda weird |

I changed my IP from 60.49.XX to 60.53.XX and guess what ?
Now I have no problems downloading stuff from server 506 of RS. Does this mean Streamyx's dynamic IP actually blocks out certain servers ? |

QUOTE(tron @ Nov 20 2008, 11:40 PM) so just simply restart your modem to change? Yeah I just reset my modem to change.im not sure if it actually blocks but the proxies sure cause a lot of problems connecting to them. http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/835869 Sometimes if unlucky then get 118.XX.XX or 218.XX.XX The best is still 60.53.XX, superb speed and no hassle at all. |

Change it to 60.53.XX and you will experience normal speed.
That's the pros and cons of having a dynamic IP |

My speed has been fine all day long, no problems at all.
But I always choose the 60.53.XX IP |
