hello guys. new ep45-ud3p user reporting. just got tis board 2 days ago and been clocking all day long. i'm new in oc'ing and tis is my result. i think the temp is very high. hope to get some comments and advices from all the sifu here. my vcore in bios is 1.3 and dram voltage at 2.0, spd is 2.0, ram timing is 5-5-5-15. i'm using 2x1gb kingston hyper x 1066 ddr2 and cooler master n620 hsf. i guess i got the wrong hsf. cry.gif

fix ur temp 1st.its nt a bad cooler frm wat i see,try resitting it if u can and reapply thermal paste,nt too much and nt too little
btw 460 x 9 or 515 x 8 better for e8400?
*
i would go for 515 x 8 instead of 460 x 9 because from wat i heard is higher fsb is better. correct me if i'm wrong. thx

beside, i will try to resit the hsf and see wat happens. at the same time, i'm thinking to get a TRUE extreme 120. i heard alot of good feedback for tis hsf. thinking how to settle my old hsf if i would get a new 1. tongue.gif

try resit it?make sure it rly touches the surface of the proc
*
i think it's stick to the proc. maybe my way to apply the thermal paste was wrong? any guide to apply the paste correctly? i just put a drop at the center of the proc and screwed it.
