I read about this UD3P board and according to them, it works great with plenty of overclocking potential. However, I haven't had a chance to try as yet.

QUOTE(RacingTech @ Jan 8 2009, 08:08 AM) tonight gonna stress the cpu and see whether it is stable or not... !!! but one damn problem is from the psu, it cant power up my 3rd HDD... it just dont work until i plug in another psu to tat HDD... damn psu... !!!! Are you sure it's the PSU? I'm using Odin 550W and I have 3 x HDD's, 1 x CDROM, 1 x 8800GT, X-Fi Elite Pro and watercooling pump plus lots of fan and it works like a charm for almost a year now |

GT or PRO gives the same output and the only difference is the expensive one has the software and sensor. I'm using the cheaper version and have an APC SmartUPS 750 running under my desk. I'm pretty sure it can power your rig or the PSU might be faulty?

Yup, 550W is quite a bit of power. The APC light only shows 2 bars but the moment I start Orthos, it became 3

QUOTE(RacingTech @ Jan 8 2009, 03:47 PM) how about your voltage monitoring, i found tat the negative value is crazy.. exp -12v reading come back -18 or something tat wasnt close to 12!!! please let me know your reading... i want to make sure whether my psu is spoiled or not..... The reading differs from one board to another so it's not a straight off comparison unless we're using the same board. Even so, it might not be 100% identical. |

You can use a software called "Core Temp" as it'll give you a more reliable reading.
