New owner of EP45-UD3R reporting in.... hehe.....

CPU cooler: Deep Cool Killer Whale
RAM: Kingston value ram ddr2 800 4GB
PSU: Gigabyte Odin Pro 550w
GC: Geforce 7900GT
Soundcard: Creative Audigy 2 ZS
OS: Ms Vista Ultimate

Just get the system up last night... installed vista... start to bump the cpu fsb up to 333 from 266 so the the cpu fsb become 1333mhz... i forget to set the ratio for the ram n bootup the pc (too excited)... luckily still get through and checking with cpuz... it show my ram ratio is 2:3 n my ram become 500mhz.... !!! wow still up n running for a cheap ram.....

tonight gonna stress the cpu and see whether it is stable or not... !!! but one damn problem is from the psu, it cant power up my 3rd HDD... it just dont work until i plug in another psu to tat HDD... damn psu... !!!!

now have to remove that 3rd HDD so tat it wont disturb my bootup process and possible drag down the stability of the whole system.....

Now the cpu is just slight OC to 3ghz from 2.93ghz... will try to increase more if my ram test all went through tonite...
but one thing tat i want to ask for opinion, is this cpu tat hot? idle around 40+ n full load at around 58 max with default speed??? please advice!!! been a while not catching up with cpu info..... help please!!!!

by the way, is there any improvement on F5 bios? do i need to update it?

Yours is GT or pro cause my is pro.... the reason i say so is because when i use other psu to power it up then it work...
by the way i got 2 cd rom n 3 HDD if plus tat dont work one... i think is the ampere problem not the watt cause i use my ups to monitor the load, it only consume no more than 300w pure including my lcd monitor also.... any one else got any idea?

so yours one is same as mine!! hehe.... i prefer it to be faulty so tat i can RMA or getting a one to one swap! mine APC is 650 n i install the APC software n it tell me it is still underload!

how about your voltage monitoring, i found tat the negative value is crazy.. exp -12v reading come back -18 or something tat wasnt close to 12!!! please let me know your reading... i want to make sure whether my psu is spoiled or not.....

Tried again with my psu and it just dont like my HDD, when i put in other HDD, it able to detect 3 HDD together. i did tried to take out one of the working one n put this "special" hdd, it also dont work but if i use this hdd on my old pc, it work n running great!!!!! dono wat the hell is going on???

WD 400gb.... i dont mind if it spoil anymore cause i already successfully backup the data... hahaha.... it is under warranty.... No worry!!!

Hello everyone... long time didnt look into this thread.... i was busy with my stupid troublesome seagate hdd... well today i saw a new firmware F6 for my UD3R.... should i go for it? by the way the dual bios thing how to operate? do i need to flash the bios twice to the 2 chips? if i fail, how to recover from the backup bios? please help up here........

wow! tats is lots cooler than my deepcool killer whale.... dono wats is going on..... my idle is already 51 something..... load is 60 something also... this is all at stock speed, not even OC yet... is your temp is taken from aircon room?

haha funny! cacing! my case is an cheftec casing. it is an older model full tower casing, i got 3 80mm fan going in n 2 80mm fan going out... airflow is good.... may be is my deepcool got problem?

Hello everybody, need help here, this morning suddenly my UD3R get 8 beeps when the computer is on, it wont boot into bios and no screen on monitor.... wat is the error code means????? HELP!!!!!!

Finally found the issue, it is the lousy kingston ram!!! cant believe it die so fast for only few months, beside i am not oc on this pc... what a shame kingston!!! wat a relief it was not other major component that spoiled.....

Last time i did accidentally push it to 500FSB but didnt prime it and it did go in windows... after that i down it to ori 400mhz cause not intend to oc my ram. I havent rma the ram but i did call up the shop where i bought it and they say might need to wait for 3 to 6 months or 1 year!!!!! walau!!!! how can it be like that!!!!

Last nite i was bored and start OC my QX6800 and push it to 3.6Ghz with 400x9. After prime it, the temp go to 73c max, dono will spoiled it or not hahhaha.... any comment everyone? i am using deep cool killer whale already with cooler master fan....

May i know the reason your use 450fsb for higher fsb? is it better bandwidth? what about the voltage setting in your bios? i think i put 1.375 in bios but appear at cpuz only 1.312....... is this normal?

wat do u mean by 1.22v? cpu? then how come u say 1.337 for 450? very confusing... hahhaa....

wat is strap 400 with 400fsb? 1:1 ratio? if tats wat u mean then yes, my current setting is running 1:1 which is 400:400 n cpu is 400x8 with 1.375 at bios there else the system will not prime stable....

How about my qx6800? wat is the safe voltage range for it?

Oh... MCH is the mobo voltage hehe, i think i up everything a notch. actually i didnt research much on the VTT, MCH, PLL, not really know wat r them. i just concentrate on vcore n dimm voltage. i will check tonite for my other voltage. may be try to reduce some and see what happen.

ya our qx6800 really hot! hehe.... luckily nowadays all the gaming mostly utilize the gpu else sure our cpu is cooking in there.....

By the way, i go rma my ram already, hopefully it can come home early....
