i left CPU clock drive and PCI express default. for,

CPU clock skew ==> 150ps
MCH clock skew ==> 100ps

to be honest, im not quite sure what it is use for, but i just main main with it only laugh.gif read some guide and they said increase it to 100ps is very small difference only. not sure how true hmm.gif
*
clock drive i set both to 1000mv,while clock skew i set both to 150.cant see any difference pun,maybe jz to pump some juice within ?lol

QUOTE(alpha_company @ Mar 26 2009, 02:59 AM)
ok la.. i dont want to pening2 anymore..hehe. if on this p45-ud3p i set fsb to 480 or 400 will the ram automatically set itself to be 1:1 with the cpu or need to do adjusting myself?
*
if u set the multiplier to 2.00 then its 1:1 lo.2.00D

*

yeah your temp is high for 8400 bro tongue.gif

but for 4.1ghz, its quite normal although your vcore is low. the higher the clock the more power you draw resulting in higher temp (not sure if its correct hmm.gif)
*
er my vcore is set to 1.343v @ bios.considered low? blink.gif

that is quite high bro. not really advisable to do 24/7 tongue.gif

but if you plan to burn this and change a new proc then okay la laugh.gif
*
lol.i seldom go 24/7 la.will switch off my comp before going to bed evryday.as long the temps are ok at idle any vcore is ok i think

btw e8400 is safe @ 74.1 c according to intel

what's your RAM:FSB ratio for 3.2ghz and 3.3ghz setting? some how i suspect your RAM is causing the problem laugh.gif
when that happen to me usually its due to unstable clock. could yours be like that too?
*
its not unstable.already benched and tested with prime and linx

yup. it's MCH voltage. pump it a little bit. happen to me before, using 3.6ghz at 1.337Vcore 450x8. no prob at all. laugh.gif

@Ahcent

try use different strap, but seriously, ur ram is pushing u back. get 1066 kit ram n u'll be happy with ur rig. UD3P (ur mobo) is great for quaddies n high fsb. but ur ram.................. sweat.gif  sweat.gif

alright so i did a search on google bout other users of ep45-ud3p running on 520fsb or higher to find out hw much they set on the MCH.and found out evry1 of them set to at least 1.4v blink.gif blink.gif

so i did a restart just now and just set it to 1.42v.and god bless my rig booted up and im still here tongue.gif if not i may end up whole day trying to reset evrything in the bios shakehead.gif shakehead.gif .

still not sure wheter it solve my main prob during turn on

but dmm i didn't expect 520fsb to suck so many juices out of the MCH.1.4v heh sweat.gif

no wonder when i set to 1.3v+ the comp cant power up

i use the opportunity to raise 2 others as well

CPU Termination : 1.3v
MCH Reference : 0.823v
