Did you install Hidepod? Can you type anything in calculator or does it just show the error message?

Hi all. I just got my Iphone 2g (f/w 2.2) 2days ago and i encounter a small problem here:

The problem is the "slide to unlock" function.
Whn i slide to unlock, most of the time it works but sometime dont.
The slider doesnt move along with my finger as i touch d screen.
So i pressed the sleep button and tried again. Normally after 2-3 attempts, i manage to slide to unlock.

Have anyone encounter this issue b4?
Is thr any solution for this?

yup i did install hidepod... but cannot works.. and i del it through SSH already... now my cal become white icon and when i double click it auto quit..

how can i reinstall it?

...looks like the un-installation of hidepod was unsuccessful. Maybe you forgot to unlock before un-installing? I think you will need to do a restore but try this first... re-install hidepod then make sure you've got everything unlocked and uninstall again.

oooo software not compatible... i got it... but i just del my calculator.app already... omg.. anyway reinstall without restore?

what if i want to transfer and exchange files from and to other PCs such as cybercafe, library, public PCs. do they have to install the stuff first or windows can automatically detect my iphone if i use this 3rd party apps. it would be a problem if i have to install the driver for the pc everytime i go to print or save stuff from other windows based PC, isnt it? . sorry im a bit noob.

There are a lot of apps now that you can purchase which will allow you to transfer and exchange files to/from PC's without having to install any extra application/driver on Windows. However, as far as I know, this is only posible via wi-fi. No USB solution exists.

Some apps you can check (supports storage of all file formats and but only selected document formats viewable on the iPhone) via iTunes App Store (approx US$5 is the average price) :

AirSharing (highly recommended), Files, Briefcase, Discover (Free App), Datacase...and many more. Google it..

who is using 2.2FW ? can upload calculator.app to me...? i accidently del it... need to RE ssh without restore~

means without jailbreaking can't delete all contacts ?! woahh...

plug in your iphone and synchronise all your contacts via itunes to outlook (if you are on windows). delete all the contacts on your outlook and then synchronise again.

outlook express or microsoft outlook ?? or both also works???
