QUOTE(saddient @ Nov 19 2008, 09:19 PM) this phone can support up to 8gb right.... 2gb or 4gb better? i mean... dun judge from the space... like speed... chances of get lagging.... N82 have "Write" and "Read" limitation, infact this happen to all Nokia productthe max speed is lower than Class 2 but alot of ppl opt for Class 4, to make themself feel better kekeke i wish i can show you the scientific chart comparison of all Nokia product but too lazy to google the link... fyi, ppl r speculate the Read/Write speed can be increase by upgrading the firmware as u know... nokia is all this while a "Sucker" never intended/wanted to please his customer so dont ever hope for it!!!~ we all wan the F**King FP2 instead of v30!!!~ --- ps: MicroSDHC support 32GB max!!!~ |

QUOTE(chicaman @ Nov 20 2008, 01:02 PM) 1) what most of the ppl hack the phone because they wana have easier installation for software without having to sign with their own cert. But if have a developer cert its good enough already. How many of us actually did mess with those stuff inside those system folder? great thing u pointed out differences between hacking and signing application 2) yeah its in the middle of upgrading process and the NSU will ask us to unplug and do some crap and might not be able to turn on the phone~ fyi there is few thing oni can be done with hacking the phone... not application hacking!!!~ eg: turning the camera sound off the phone need access to system folder!!!~ eg: adjust the max screen brightness eg: clear the music and photo cache eg: some application can be tweak only by accessing the system folder well there are many other that i couldnt named it... but this is all just me... advance user just for fun, for getting 100% of the phone control |

ohh noo my favourite program no more
CODE Attention SymSMB users. Telexy Networks, Inc. discontinues further development, support and distribution of SymSMB product line. Two of Telexy Networks programmers worked full-time for Nokia during SymSMB development. Nokia's employment agreement contains a paragraph stating that "All Proprietary Property which Employee may develop in the course of employment with Company, whether alone or jointly with others, shall be the exclusive property of company...''. Based on this agreement Nokia has demanded all rights for SymSMB. We offer our sincere apologies to all SymSMB users and those simply interested in the product for any inconvenience. On the other hand, this can be an opportunity for SymSMB technology to be incorporated into all Nokia smartphones and become a differentiating feature of S60 platform. Telexy team is ready to provide any support Nokia may need. If you like this idea you can share your opinion on our forum: forum.telexy.com Telexy Networks is currently considering opportunities for new products and business ideas. We are open for discussion (business@telexy.com). Sincerely yours, Telexy Networks, Inc. |

QUOTE(Jeffery @ Nov 20 2008, 04:37 PM) ya lo, I wanted to ask about turning off the camera sound long time ago. Can I just replace the camera sound file with a blank sound file? I can access the system folder and I know where the file is. But I'm not sure it's working. Or is there any method to that? and can I turn of the AF assist light? It's kinda annoying. there is few way todo it... u need to google it outi just read the solution but did not actually try it out... sorry cant help much 1) Easiest, mute the phone > Set warning tone off and silent the phone 2) If above didnt work, u need to change product code/region code 3) Hacking the phone, change setting on system folder (prefer) 4) Change the shutter sound file to blank file (your solution ps: there is privacy laws concerning the camera sound... if u took your phone to US/other country and get caught dont blame me i didnt tell u kekekeke --- as of current, there is no way to disable the camera light the oni way is to mod the camera wiring... for hardcore --- and finally WARNING >> dont ever do any pervert stuff |

dont give ppl hope on FP2...
nokia just release V30, this mean it is impossible it will provide any upgrade as u know, handphone model phase out very fast, unless N82 is a really best seller phone this year then nokia will consider maintain the lifetime of the phone... else not they better put more effort on the new phone... yes i know... this is a sad news --- FYI there is still possible to upgrade to FP2... wait for symbian open source and upgrade on our own crossing my finger rite now |
