today went to nokia center.. which is located at 1 utama old wing.. but no luck cannot try the actual n82.. coz i planning get 1 end of this month.. but touched the n96.. and the keypad are quite hard to press.. XD..

why u never try go maxis center instead in one utama? think they still have the n82 selling with certain maxis value plans.
and the n96 buttons i also read bad review on them, say they too flat.

any1 tried the CamCuts application? from symbian freak...i couldnt get it working..

Want to ask

1)what brand of SD card can use Garmin? Scandisk or any other brand also can?
2) Which Garmin mobile XT for symbian S60 should use? S60 2nd edition (Ver. 4.20.00) or 3rd edition (Ver. 5.00.10)?

^ to install GMXT 3rd edition u need to install 2nd edition.

Can you elaborate? why need to install 2nd edition first before install 3rd edition.

BTW why cannot use only 2nd edition? Bug?

lol the N96 got quite a lot of bad reviews. laggy even though bigger space than N82.
Try any Nokia dealer around 1U. New wing got 1 or 2

3rd edition will only install the GM XT no others.

my n82 phone memory stated 132 mb, now already used 55mb ,and 2 gb memory, no lag, slow or whatever u call it, i install many software and all ngage game too

damn n82 too good

and the ap price now only rm12++

now VERSION 5.0.0.10..u hv to hv version 5.0.0.0 to install this new version

n u MUST download the installation files for Symbian S60 3rd Edition..
i duno wat happens if u install 2nd edition tho..haven try
those help, voice and basemap files are juz addition
u wont need basemap files to make GMXT work
if u wan voice then install the voice

hey i just follow the instruction on Garmin webpage. n it's called edition not version

that's what i do to install 3rd edition. install 2nd edition which is for me 4.20.00 then update to 5.00.10.

can i use my N82 Integrated GPS with Garmin Mobile PC. Cant find a way to just use the GPS with cable link to laptop.

There is a link on the 1st page it teaches you how to install Garmin. Not sure it work as I do not own N82.

based on my experience, 4.20 is still 3rd edition..juz older version
but if u installed using the installer for S60 2nd Edition then proves that 2nd edition's software can be installed in 3rd edition
this is my first S60 phone so i duno whether it can be done anot
