So far i'm not really know the different between previous edition and this black edition...is juz the housing colour? hmm.gif

when black was introduced, the diff is the firmware
titanium was using firmware v10, black v20
but now no diff..coz v30 is already out since a month ago
u can survey the price range in garage sales
all i noe is AP around 1.3k

Guys..the latest n82 firmware is V 30.0.019 isn't it?

can you tell me why i can't update to teh latest one. rclxub.gif .

the result show that my phone firmware is already up to date, which is V 20.0.062 <-- obviously the old V..

can anyone help me with this.. icon_question.gif

It's means your hp's product code doesn't have V30 update. Already posted few pages before. Look back few pages.

hello sifoo,
i'm new to tis phone.
N82 black edition ori set from zitron
I realiased that not all n82 can upgrade to the latest firmware.i check the product code and it prompt no update.
Can some1 confirm? as i'm a newbie...
my firmware is 20.0.062. prroduct code is 0566177
lurv this phone. especially the cameras n it's gps. also nGage games.

Not yet try with other computer.
Funny thing is N82 can pair with SE phones and SE headset easily.
Is it possible that the BT is not compatible with the N82? hmm.gif

also the N series player...if the mp3 u put on has no song data...its all thrown into the unknown folder...which again is highly stupid...
or even if one of the songs in the folder has a different album title or mispelt...u have to go search for it...which isnt easy with 1000 over mp3s.
with SE...u can still search and add in music player via the actual folder name thats u saved on the phone...rather than searching for artist or album title...

so no point for N series having better EQ or watever features if its not as user friendly.

Refresh is very disturbing and in V30 the refresh got bug.

However, the music player of Nokia N series is advance with all the filtering. Of course u need to manage ur songs ID3 tag properly, at least i did mine, I have mine all in order, album, artist, etc....

i assume some ppl dl songs from china website and some other website where they screw the ID3 tag up with some weird stuff, thats why it looks messy.

Best is the filtering, just go all songs, type name and it will filter automatically..

my N82 black coming soon this afternoon!! bought it at RM1360 AP with 2GB from my fren..

shud i check the phone with *#92702689#?

what is the acceptable calling duration limit for a AP phone?

Don't worry so much lar. As long as the phone is still in good working condition, then take it.
You have to take the risk when buying 2nd hand things.
