In anycase, the marriage is not legal in Malaysia. As much as I wish, Sakagami Tomoyo has no legal personality in Malaysia. You might as well marry your pencil. And even if (somehow) it becomes legal in Japan, when you come back to Malaysia it is not.

The law aside, I can see potential problems when your parents start asking "When are you going to give me a grandson?".

Added on October 30, 2008, 8:06 amSince when did fatwa's make sense anyway? Muslims seem to cherry pick the ones they want to follow. There is a fatwa saying organ donation is fine, but try to talk to them about it and they claim it's against Islam. There is a fatwa saying it is fine to take a transplant of pig liver (cells) to cure a dying liver in a person, but still many would rather be tied to a machine for the rest of their days than to be cured.
