Hi guys, im planning on getting the 1000H tomorrow. Wanted to wait for the 1000HE but im on a tight budget and i guess when the 1000HE comes out, the price would be around >RM1900?

Anyway, just wanna ask what is the standard package for 1000H? Does it come bundled with a asus sleeve/bag? I dont want to get cheated. I was quoted RM1799 here in kuching. They told me net price.

Hey, i just got myself the 1000H. I got the 5600mah battery that budges out from the back of the netbook. Anyway, i just read online that the 5600mah is a 4 cell battery pack and rated at 5.5 hours, is this correct? Because it's been advertised everywhere that it comes with a 6 cell battery. Even my notebook had a sticker that said 7 hours battery life.

The main reason i chose asus was because of read reviews about the battery lasting longer than the acer one and the reason i got the 1000H over the 1002HA was because the latter had a 4 cell batt instead of the 6 cell. Now i feel cheated

Those of you who have the 5600mah battery, what's your typical battery life.

Someone mentioned in this forum that the battery that budges out is the newer 5600mah one. But if the battery capacity has dropped from 6600mah, asus shouldnt be saying 7 hours batter time rite? Although i understand under normal operations the netbook wouldn't last that long.
