Disappointing? I think it looks cool. And the adjuster is well placed and really feels firm.
Heck, I think the straps alone is enough to make me buy it lol.

Then again, I like sling bags.

Perhaps it of a good quality in the real life, the photo just don't do justice. The strap looks rather cheap.
I'm a sling bag kinda person as well.

Could you guys clarify something for me please?
I've seen reviews online about the Asus S101 using SSD, but when I've checked some stores, they've mentioned to me that the S101 comes with a HDD instead.
And now I'm rather confused as to the storage drive they used for this model. sweat.gif

I'm assuming that it's a mistake since all the reviews I've came across states that it's a 2 cell.

you're saying only 900HA got RM400 profit margin or tax??

how come other models like 904 and 1000 price difference less than RM300??

I think ASUS msia just want bigger margin for the latest model blink.gif
for comparison; Acer Aspire One and Lenovo S10 official price in msia is about the same as other international markets

just checked today at sunway... 900HA price dropped $100.... to $1499

was also impressed with 1002HA.... really nice looking netbook... may wait for this to further drop in price, maybe during next pc fair icon_rolleyes.gif

Bootup time 15 secs
Office 07 works but you need to set it at a smaller resolution.
It doesnt really lag, but the battery life kinda sucks for their claim.
Its really good for 2 cells battery, but ASUS claim to last 5 hours but for me it only run around 3+ hours.
Movie playback is good, the speaker is pretty decent and the screen is nice smile.gif.
The body is really sleek and nice, and I think its nicer than HP mini.
The surface temperature stays cool and nice all the time , so I guess its good.

I bought mine at 1929 with a 2GB RAM upgrade. smile.gif

Good luck with your netbook hunt. laugh.gif

The claim Asus made was using SHE Power-Saving Mode, 40% LCD brightness with Wifi, Bluetooth and the camera being turned off. smile.gif
You could check it out at this link.
