Hi.

I have an 1001P. Just upgrade it with 2G DDR2 Kingston ram but BIOS still show 1G ram only.

Anyone have any experience on this can help resolve this problem?

have you purchase the correct ram?what brand?PC2-6400 or PC2-5400?

I have the correct DDR-800 ram. A friend suggested that to check for latest bios update. Have updated the bios (New bios update is 3 weeks newer than my current bios) and working fine now. Problem solved.

Anyone overclocked their asus netbook before? what's the clock ur getting?

Just bought Eee PC 1215P earlier this week for 1340, upgraded to 2GB ram

questions
if i want to change the os to Win7 64, can the hardware support it?
can i just format C and replace it with the new os?
all the recovery thingy is not saved in C right? i notice another 15GB partition without drive letter

How's the build quality?
Going for the PC Fair this weekend at 1Borneo and it's a toss up between this and the Toshiba NB520

2 years and my 1002ha still serve me well, eventhough i didn't feel any difference after upgrade to 2gb ram

last week, bought asus 1215p for rm 1300 with 2g ram,320gb hd n red colour.

my question....in the review it said the battery can last up to 10hrs...but mine with fully charges is only 5hrs...do i missing something here?

this thread was fast...from#1 to #3...around 300 pages to look for....hope get some reply.

10 hours on doing nothing, with WiFi off and screen brightness at minimum I guess. :S

I think 1215P is using a 6 cell.
