Depend on the price. Since it is rare, you might want to consider getting a brand new 10" netbook for peace of mind. They are getting slimer and more portable with each new model.

And their battery holds more and more powers nao. I saw one up to 10 hours of usage. sweat.gif

i see.. if so which asus eee 1000 series (WITH HDD) i can get for arnd rm500-700? i mean 2nd hand unit one..

hi, i plan to get one of this mini. I want to ask is it possible to downgrade win 7 to win XP, will finding the driver a problem?

Usually Asus will provide xp drivers on their website. Better check with the website your model first.

The one I show above you is within your budget.

Thanks for the advice. Just that Im confuse as most netbook specs are the same - but got so many price, some are below 1k mark.

So, any model u can suggest for best value/performance/specs.

Thinking of surveying/buying during this week/pc fair..

The specs are indeed almost all the same. Therefore people always compare:

The battery life.
The ram upgrade: possible/not possible/ddr2/ddr3
Value added: some offer free online storage, some offer extra warranties, some comes with recovery partition, some bundled it with free ext dvd (fujitsu)

The model I posted earlier seems nice...

Baiscally just go check it out and decide. I think in the end it all comes down to the design.
